Description
“Louie The First” is a tribute to Louis Armstrong- one of the greatest and most well recognized musical legends of the world. I wanted to capture his radiant smile, crown him and give Louie a New Orleans shotgun house as a headdress. The home address bears his birthdate (8-4-1901). His lapel is fastened with a trumpet, of course. -T. Osborne
